- Don’t use too much information
Even though this guideline might seem counterintuitive, you should still avoid introducing too much information. This is the biggest mistake that you will find in resumes or scholarship letters and it can be simply avoided by sticking to the point.
- Template and Fonts
Obviously, you want your resume to look professional and this is why you need to stay away from crazy templates or fonts such as Comic Sans. This is why we are advising everyone to keep things simple and formal.
- Good Grammar is essential
You will never make a good impression on the interviewer or scholarship provider if you don’t use good grammar. Just make sure that your resume is “bulletproof” by proofreading it a couple of times before you mail it.
